Most of us have past hurts and traumas that affect who we are, how we do life, why we believe what we believe, think what we think, say what we say, and do what we do. In fact, past issues cause many to internalize False Beliefs about themselves such as; I’m not good enough, I’m worthless, I’m defective, I’m bad, unlovable, stupid, etcetera. Therefore, hurtful and traumatic experiences from the past affect us as individuals, spouses, parents, friends, and employees. These Negative Cognitions (false beliefs) become who we are, they define us; affecting our thoughts, feelings, behaviors, and choices.
A successful marriage is the hardest job a couple will encounter. Marriage happens on PURPOSE. Purposely growing the marriage through counseling and predetermined goals will set relationships on the right path.
